Vulnerability

This is an image I produced as a part of a project on self-portraits. As a photographer, I generally feel uncomfortable in front of a camera, as opposed to behind it, and this is something I wanted to highlight with this work. I wanted to show a part of myself that most people who meet me are generally unaware of, and something it takes a lot for me to share. I thought, I'll have to step out of my comfort zone for this anyway, so why not take a giant leap, and I'll create something striking and unique in the process.
